Website not working / glitch Questions & Discussion
 
Anyone else having a problem with the TAP website today? Any time I plug in routes and dates, I get a message saying:

It is not possible to advance right now.
We are currently in the process of updating the TAP online booking system. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will resolve things shortly. See you soon!


A bit odd, in that at the same time the airline is advertising a Cyber November sale on selected flights.

If in fact this is any regular maintenance, any sense of when it might be finished?

Their IT system crashed. I'm stranded in Lisbon and will arrive over 3h late on final destination for sure. 2 delays today.

Getting Error While Pulling Reservation
 
Getting an error on tap website since yesterday. Trying to call in and won't connect either. Is anyone getting this error?

Ya! Me too. Still getting the error (it just says error 500) when attempting to pull up my reservation. Sent a tweet to TAP; maybe I'll hear back in a month! 😮

Im still getting the API 500 Error when pulling error. Its a pain in the butt because I will not know if flight changes are made. Seriously Swoop Airlines seems like a better option for communication then my home country TAP.

TAP is useless at IT. We can wait months for this to get fixed. I emailed and tweeted them last week and got no reply from either.

However, I found a workaround.

1. Bring up the panel to manage your booking
2. Enter an invalid PNR and name
3. The "Booking not found" page will be displayed .... enter your full ticket number and name here ... 047.........
4. Hey, presto ... you are inside your reservation.

It was working for a few days and now while still letting you open your reservation and book luggage, it is no longer possible to reserve seats. It gives the "API 500 Error" again. This is such awful IT. All I want to do is assign myself seats again after TAP changed my reservation due to flight retiming.
