Experiences with SeatBoost?

Tap Portugal partnered with a start-up for last minute business class bids. I've tried them out twice, I was the only person in the auction and I checked with gate staff that business class seats were available. In the end, I was always told that I lost the auction.

Any positive experiences with them? The minimum bid seems to have increased to a point that bidding directly with Tap is a better deal as you get all the business class perks and not just the seat (eg. Mileage)

I successfully bid with SeatBoost twice in December. The price increased from the first to the second bid. When I had the 3rd flight, the price was already above the upgrade at the airport feature and remained so in the following flights, so I just stopped using it altogether.

I noticed that. Their price is the same or more expensive than the upgrade directly with TAP or at check-in desk. And you only get the seat with them & meal, no associated business class mileage or baggage.

Seatboost is now blocking passengers who complain about them on social media. What a crappy company. Of course it's the perfect match for the lack of customer service TAP offers.
