So it's official:
I know, will never happen. Too thin a route, too short of a runway at CGB. But hey, let's be creative. Operate this with an A320 as LIS-(BVC|RAI|VXE)-FEN-CGB. Get fifth freedom and cabotage rights. Allow stopovers (too brutal otherwise, on an A320), and people can get some truly interesting destinations along the way and some really unique vacations out of this route.

Wow! This would be a new island-hopper to match the ex-CO one. . It'll never happen though. How many of the A320 birds are ETOPS certified?

It seems that a triangular LIS-PTY-BOG-LIS (or the other way around) is expected to be announced soon.

.... I would want the 13th destination to be Cuiabα for access to Mato Grosso and the Pantanal...... Operate this with an A320 as LIS-(BVC|RAI|VXE)-FEN-CGB. Get fifth freedom and cabotage rights. IMO It ticks all the boxes:
- Diversify from Brazil
- 2 *A hubs (allow onward traffic with Avianca and Copa)
- Not too much competition, yet, from Europe.
I like the FEN part. I was checking flights from NAT/REC to FEN and it's extortion.
And in the news today TP is negotiating the leasing of 2 additional A320's [PT only]. So there is a chance for the dream to come true

Let me just add that I'm not entirely sure. There's a rumour among TP employees and the mass media have been talking about it. It is because there are two concurring sources that I give it some credit.

S14 frequency increases to Brazil
TP press release:
Impressive. I think these additional flights will only add to the top line. And a new C class would definitely be a game changer IMO.
With 8 additional flights (and considering some optimization to improve ac utilizaiton) at least one of the new A330 is fully utilized.
Let's see if what are the plans (considering remaining utilization of second aircraft) and if it's and additional city in Brazil (The "latest success on the TP Brazilian network - Porto Alegre", is quite outstanding so I would not exclude a new one) and/or tff's mentioned BOG-PTY.
TAP boosts Rio, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Natal
Five cities in Brazil will have another weekly flight to Lisbon next summer and TAP will then offer 82 connections a week to 12 Brazilian destinations, i.e. between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro (14 flights a week), Sγo Paulo (11), Belo Horizonte (7), Fortaleza (7), Recife (7), Salvador (7), Brasilia (7), Porto Alegre (6), Natal (4), Campinas (3), Belem/Manaus (3) and between Porto and Rio de Janeiro (3) and Sao Paulo (3).
At present TAP operates 13 flights a week to Rio de Janeiro, and this will rise to 14, which is the same as the provision of two daily Lisbon Rio flights.
Salvador and Belo Horizonte are currently served by six flights a week, and next summer there will be daily flights (seven a week).
Demonstrating the latest success on the TAP Brazilian route network, Porto Alegre will have six instead of five flights to Lisbon each week. There will be four instead of three weekly flights to Natal.
With these extra flights, plus the already announced three flights a week on the Lisbon - Manaus - Belιm route, TAP will be operating a total of 82 weekly flights between Portugal and 12 cities in Brazil from next summer. That is eight more than were operating this year.

Yes, well TRN is only a 2-hr bus ride from MXP, so I think they decided that the numbers don't add up for TRN.

They all add something:
BOG/PTY - diversify from Brazil, give IB a run for their money with BOG and allow Central American connections with Copa
NTE - seventh (IIRC) destination in France and one typically underserved by legacies even AF.
HAJ - Trade Fairs, Industry around. LH with some codeshare could see a flying start.
BEG/LED/GOT - Seems to target second cities in markets that are doing well (I consider BEG as the second city to ZAG, not very PC, I know)
For TLL I cannot really see the full picture.
The only concern I see is that these are also lengthy sectors for the medium haul. Let's see if the costs do pile up.

NTE,HAJ,TLL schedules published
Airline route published NTE,HAJ,TLL schedules
TLL not surprisingly joins the late night LIS departure bank for an overnight flight (like HEL, OTP and DME) and NTE is operated by Portugalia.
If I have to guess LED will also fall in the same category of late night from LIS
