As you will have seen upthread, it's long been the case that BCN does not have a lounge for Gold Star Alliance passengers in economy, nor Fast Track (Fast Lane). And that's also clearly laid out in TAP's website

https://www.flytap.com/en-gb/at-the-airport/lounges
https://www.flytap.com/en-gb/at-the-airport/fast-track

The agent was wrong, I don't see the point in them lying, what's the benefit of that? But given the agent probably works for 8 different airlines each week it wouldn't be surprising if the agent got it wrong, given than other airlines take a different approach to TAP.

I am trying to figure out if I will have access to the Marco Polo Lounge in Venice (Star G). The link above says lounge not found yet the Star Alliance Lounge Finder says I will have access

Anyone know for sure?

Not when flying TAP. It's a PP lounge IIRC.

At the moment I am at Brussels airport terminal B . I did not get acces at the Diamond lounge. I am Star Gold flying economy on Egypt air. A tip : if you have time enough go to The Loft in terminal A first . That is a Star Alliance Lounge. In terminal B there is no Star Alliance Lounge.

Flew out of Paris Orly, where there's no lounge behind security. Instead, the check-in agent handed me a €20 voucher to use at the takeaway shop, with both *G and business class marked on the voucher.

BCN Lounge is back

I was surprised when my last week's BP on TP bcn-lis showed lounge access. And indeed, the rules changed again and as *G you are entitled to use contract lounge in BCN again.
HOwever, big disappointment in LIS as the TP lounge is closed, no alternative acces though.
I was given 10€!!!! Voucher to use in any of the restaurants. Didn't bother, a simple sandwich and coffee were 12€ and huge lines everywhere. Unbelievable. Can it get any worse?

Manchester's back on Lisbon's lounge map

it must be quite recent: but TP J-class and *G passengers get to use the Aspire lounge ..... which now boasts an automated pancake maker
