TAP international allowing personal item?
 
Do the new (after Sept 2017) TAP fares allow a personal item in addition to hand baggage or only the carryon? Unclear from the website. Thanks.

At the moment they're officially allowing 1+1 on all flights except to the US where it's just 1.
Unclear what's going to happen after September.

Interesting. I had no idea that they enforced a strict 1-item policy on US-bound flights. Did they use to run out of overhead bin space on those widebodies?

Thankfully, I have never flown on them to the US, so I can't confirm personally, but that's what it says on the website.

Flying EWR-LIS a year or two back, it was a normal 1+1 policy at least for *Gs. Horrid flight though.
