Also interesting westbound because it bad for connections in EWR with a 2230 arrival from LIS. Lots of domestic U.S. connecting opportunities on *A / UA via EWR, but not that late at night. I know there is a huge Portuguese community in Newark but it seems like they are leaving some money on the table by depending only on EWR / NYC O/D traffic.

Interesting timings. Do any other airlines have eastbound overnight transatlantic flights departing the U.S. after midnight?

They have a similarly-timed flight to YYZ.

You don't think it is? The press release, last year, announcing it, did not mention this multi daily service (would have been a good selling point), and LCG, VGO in Galicia with more economic potential were launched as single daily. both have more than double the population in their respective cities than SCQ)
Multiple daily is always beneficial and could command a premium IMO (shorter connections) but i can't remember this double daily strategy from the start anywhere in the latest Spanish new routes (OVD, ALC, LPA, and the above 2).
So for me, definitely surprising.

I've heard it on the grapevine that the following destinations should be announced soon: LIS-LIM, -MCO, -CPT, -CUN, -BEY, -AGA, and OPO-SID.
At the same time, the following routes should go seasonal, operating exclusively during IATA summer: LIS-HEL, -NAP, -NTE.
Finally, the following routes should be axed: OPO-BRU, -MUC.

They know much more about the topic, but MEX would be top of my priority list
on OPO-BRU, if they cannot make this work, none of the above will.
it started as a double daily
now it's a single flight 5x weekly.
Together with SN all departures (up to 3 a day for which they codeshare) ex-BRU are between 10:15-13:40. hardly business and even leisure suitable.
Anecdotally a friend of mine was always flying OPO-BRU via LIS as the direct flight (evening flight) was outrageously expensive, and every time he took was fairly full (including Euro MP's and staff onboard)

LIM,CPT,CUN and BEY? i see the TP route planning team took out the dart board again to pick new routes... yikes. My guess, they will end up like BEG,TLL and others as a single season wonder.

Looks like he death throes of the carrier. Thrashing about trying to find the magic long-haul market which will allow it to raise average revenues to levels above the rubbish place they are at now. Lima has some sense as a destination and hub, now Bogota is well tied in: but Cancun - another low-revenue leisure route.
