TAP will operate the route on the new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, with 21 planned for delivery to the airline over the next two years.
Do you have a source for the Aircraft type? I see it as A332 when trying to simulate a booking (which is logical for a new route as the A332 has less seats than the A339).
I wouldn't even be surprised it it ends up being an A321LR

Here's the source that stated the neo aircraft type. They probably got it wrong, I don't know... https://wtop.com/business-finance/20...hts-to-lisbon/

I think that site took some short cuts between the TP press release of new routes and the delivery of the A339.
The A332's would be 260-270 seats to fill, A339 would be ~300, so probably not the best fit for a new route.
The A339 will very likely end up doing GRU,GIG.

Per post 354, MIA-LIS will be served by A330-900neo - what does the Day x 7 mean? Sunday Only? If so, what other types of aircraft would be flying MIA-LIS route? I hope it would not be the old angled seats...

Lisbon – Miami Planned A330-900neo debut on 01MAR19 unchanged. In summer season, A330-900neo operates following, replacing -200:
31MAR19 – 15JUN19 Daily
17JUN19 – 24JUN19 Day x246
25JUN!9 – 03JUL19 Day x46
04JUL19 – 26OCT19 Day x7
