Concur. I've looked for really good reasons for a sub-forum and haven't really found one. The scroll bar is a better solution if one does not like a thread or threads.

Apparently, lots of computers do not come with that advanced scroll bar these days.... :D

If a subforum does not have the support of the moderators (and typically the moderators would be the first to see the need and initiate the request) and if there is no forcing event (such as a corporate reorganization), I don't believe that the TalkBoard should step in.

I am also against a sub-forum and have increasingly become disenchanted with the CC...I have given away eVIPs in the past and lately have felt like a schmuck for not asking for something in exchange...certainly not in the spirit of the CC forum.

May I be so bold to suggest that the CC forum be closed entirely and that sub-forums be created within each FF/Hotel program to try and avoid cash exchange...haven't really thought that through, but there has to be a good solution for someone to actually feel good about giving something away to a fellow frequent flyer and not feel that you are being 'taken'
