I guess I don't understand Dhammer53's comment as it relates to the topic of this thread.

I'm presuming dhammer was commenting that the originator of the thread, did not try to sell his firm's Nepal travel services. As a first time FT participant, Raj had no way of knowing how the "regulars" frown on commercial sounding topics.
Raj turned out (IMHO) to have some very interesting insights about traveling in troubled places. In subsequent postings in the thread, he omitted mention of his agency. I for one, will take time to read future postings by Raj.

This one would seem to be the ultimate in commercial messages that ought to be outlawed here - this guy apparently trolls FT soliciting plaintiffs for class action lawsuits against companies in the travel industry:

Along somewhat similar lines, what is the policy regarding user names that are also website url's? Seems that I have noticed more and more of these lately.
