Employee specific discussions
Is this type of discussion really appropriate for Flyertalk:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/014909.html I'd hate to see Flyertalk turn into USAviation.com with tons of threads with airline employees b*tching about their employers. |
You know, I've noticed more and more employee "shop talk" going on around FT lately.
I think some of our employee posters are among the most valuable around and I'm grateful for there presence here. I agree with Beckles, however, that I don't want to see this place turn into what some of those other aviation boards have. Has anyone explored the interest in starting an Travel Industry Employee forum in FT Travel? This might be a good place for these types of posts. |
If you are referring to some of the posts in the UA forum, personally I have no problem with them. If Randy makes some sort of corporate decision, albeit.
To some extent it is voyeuristic. If they want to "leave the windows open", others will "be able to see in". I myself would not want to air my employer's dirty laundry in front of my clients, but these people have to make their own choices. |

But then again, we appear to have no problems talking about "employee class" and the United internal process for allocating seats to employees....
Not sure where the line is crossed. William |
