I plan to create this forum by the end of next week. I am working with Talkboard and Talkteam to further define the content. There also needs to be mods assigned to the forum before it goes live.

Thanks for the efforts
When we do have the forum I would like to request that any threads outside the forum that descend into tirades against bloggers have those posts yanked out and moved to a separate thread in the new forum. I for one am getting fed up of endless deal threads that descend into "bloggers ruin everything" debates. Here's the latest example:

I can dig out dozens of other examples.... kind of tiring
When we do have the forum I would like to request that any threads outside the forum that descend into tirades against bloggers have those posts yanked out and moved to a separate thread in the new forum. I for one am getting fed up of endless deal threads that descend into "bloggers ruin everything" debates. Here's the latest example:

With all due respect, you should not fault anyone (be it here on F/T or any other election) for casting a vote as simply put, they voted (and if you have an issue with Hans Golden not voting, that is between you and them and should be handled privately [and delicately ]). I understand some Talk Board members and FT members are against the idea of a blog forum, but there was no middle ground to go with an alternate proposal that could be looked at.

Can HansGolden share his view on why he did not vote on this issue? I checked both related threads and don't see that he posted in either to give an indication why he abstained.
