LX F service in BKK

It is more expensive to fly SIN-BKK r/t than BKK-SIN r/t. Buying 2 one-ways doesn't help however.

By a somewhat bizarre (BA ticketing restriction derived) turn of events it now appears we will need to make this trip in reverse BKK-SIN-BKK. Repeating my earlier question, are there any good deals in F rather than C?

Only in biz which you can do r/t for about GBP 164 v. 764 for F.

That was what I suspected. It is strange that the gap between the 2 classes is so high.

I agree, but it happens pretty often, in many markets. There are a lot more D and Z fares than A fares!
