There's none of that involved
You will go directly from one gate to the other, passing a passport control booth on your way. No customs, declarations or security checks. I estimate no more than 30 mins gate to gate.

All you've to do is take the intra-terminal train from E to A, pass immigration, and wait for your flight (most probably from A gates) in the lounge. With an on-time arrival, you probably get more than 30min, if not an hour, in the lounge.

Hi All,
I am looking for guidance for best LX J or *A Gold lounge in ZRH for a short haul ZRH LHR flight in LX J.
Swiss Business lounge? Or I see mention of Alpine lounge?
This will be first of two legs. Will have long layover in LHR then LHR ORD on UA J.
Thanks all!
edit: looks like LX departs terminal D for ZRH LHR. That correct? It appears Senator Lounge D would be best bet…? Or better to go someplace different and then walk over to departure gate in D?

Thank you! Sen D lounge it is, then. How long do you think to allow for from airport arrival (no checked bags) to lounge arrival for this late afternoon ZRH LHR flight?

Schengen (SPU/OU) to Schengen (AMS/LX) transfer. What’s the best and indeed most convenient lounge to spend a couple of hours? I’m SEN travelling C, the other 2 pax also travelling C but no SEN/G status, it will have to be a Business lounge (I guess).

Hard question.
Ordinarily I would say SEN E, but you wouldn't partake in the Whisky bar and your companions couldn't join you neither, so that leaves BIZ E, which still has terrace and the views. But, it's non-Schengen in the satellite.
SEN and BIZ A are a dump though. Weird layout and almost always overcrowded. There's a new lounge in D which would work well if SPU was still NS.
For your and your colleagues sake I hope you are through when Alpine is open, it's the best option. It's open until 18:00

Two weeks ago the attendant at the Alpine Lounge didn't want to let me in because of my *G not being SEN, but when she saw that the boarding pass was J (but not LHG) she said I could get in. I pointed out that I guessed it was the other way around, but she said no... The website is clear though and until that day I never had problem my *G but not SEN, even in Y. And scanning the boarding pass always gave the green light.
Interestigly that day the Business Lounge in A was near capacity according to the sign at the entrance and people were invited to check out the Alpine lounge, even though all non LHG J pax have no access to it.
