New LX LAX frequencies

Just got my M&M newsletter today and it shows that LX is increasing frequencies to LAX.

From Apr 1 LX41/40 also operates on Tuesdays, and from Jul 1 Sundays also (making it daily).

Excellent news for us LAX based FTers. My only problem is that connections in ZRH to HEL are awful

That was about time. LX40/41 is notoriously oversold, especially in F. Btw, the new frequencies lead to LX releasing several award seats in F. I saw them popping up these days. Act quickly, they'll be gone soon.

Me too In fact I am not sure why they would add the tuesday flight before the Sunday flight - I would have thought Tue flights would have lower loads than Sunday flights which are perfect for business travellers (at least for me).

I guess it has something to do with the availability of their planes and the frequencies of other destinations.
