ZRH Stammtisch Thread
LATEST - Next stammtisch on October 15th, 7pm @ Zurich main station, underneath the angel See last page of this thread for details
Every now and then, a few local Zurich FTers and any guests who are in town get together for a casual "stammtisch". The standard itinerary that proves popular with the crowds is
7pm - Meet underneath the angel, Zurich main station
7-8pm - Beers at Brasserie Federale, Zurich main station
8pm - Italian dinner at Pulcino, 15min walk from the main station
chumbawumba is usually in charge of setting the dates using Doodle polls.

Excellent idea!
Funny, I just got PM from a GVA FTer for a smaller lunch. Maybe I can concinve him, and other GVA people to move to ZRH as well.
It's too early for me to confirm the dates. I have a preference for the wkds! Or why not disclocate the DO to GVA ;-)

I have used your poll - the weekends in Janaury will be fine with me, it might work out to get the first week of January 8th to 12th January off, but I am not sure about it right in the moment and probably will not until Mid December (see, how projects are going and how teaching lessons I have to give will be (re)sheduled)

Just added my dates to the survey. It's a great idea Oli, I hope we can get this to work out. Oh, and of course a ZRH Do would be great!

Thanks a lot for starting this thread airoli. I will check my agenda as soon as I find some reliable wireless connection (posting from LHRs BMI Lounge that doesnt accept my laptop on its wireless and the airline that wouldnt let me board an earlier flight on a full fare biz ticket)

Okay, the Doodle poll has been open for a week, thanks all for participating. Based on the 11 votes cast, there is one clear winner with 7 possible attendees:
Friday, January 5, 2007
FLYGVA, alex0683de, rorschi, bchl, Frequent_Flyer1, verve and myself can all attend. Please do block this day in your schedules. I will provide details on when and where we meet in a few days, after speaking to verve. Inputs are always welcome...

Good morning!
Just wanted to bump this thread as I haven't heard anything lately where and when (time?) our "Stammtisch" will take place. And Friday is coming nearer and nearer...
airoli / verve, please feel free to send me a PM if you do not want to post it here.
Thanks and have a wonderful weekenend! Und natürlich auch einen guten "Rutsch"...
