LX Fare Codes

Expertflyer.com lists LX fare classes U and Z as being Business Class & First Class respectively. However, when I checked this against LH they list the earning mileage on these fare classes to be Economy & Business respectively.

Can anyone confirm please?

The fare listing I get from Expertflyer.com is:

A LX FIRST
AN LX FIRST CLASS
B LX ECONOMY
BN LX ECONOMY
C LX BUSINESS
CN LX BUSINESS
D LX BUSINESS
DN LX DELUXE NIGHT
E LX SHUTTLE SERVICE
F LX FIRST CLASS
FN LX DELUXE NIGHT
H LX ECONOMY
HN LX ECONOMY
I LX BUSINESS
J LX BUSINESS
K LX ECONOMY
KN LX ECONOMY
L LX ECONOMY
M LX ECONOMY
N LX ECONOMY
O LX ECONOMY
P LX FIRST CLASS
Q LX ECONOMY
R LX ECONOMY
S LX ECONOMY
T LX ECONOMY
U LX BUSINESS
V LX ECONOMY
W LX ECONOMY
X LX ECONOMY
Y LX COACH
YN LX ECONOMY
Z LX FIRST

As I thought...too good to be true for fares at those prices!

Thanks verve.

It's possible that Z/U used to be First/Business before LX became part of LH, because I don't recall Z being a Business Class fare bucket before the merge.

U is now an economy bucket.

The new business class buckets for paid seats are CDZ&J.

That's correct, I already forgot the golden days of STC... if I remember it right Z used to by the F award, U the C award

new LX fare code

I purchased a ticket r/t IAD-GVA-BCN in February for 7/8 July through UA with LX providing the GVA-BCN sectors. United notified me today that the schedule had changed but when I called in, they said the fare code on LX had gone from W to T. Any idea why and whether there are any implications for me? I am not pending an u/g but curious how an airline can change your booked and paid fare bucket.
