Swiss Changes Fare Structure?
 
Hey,


I was looking at some fares from KHI to YMQ. In Business Class, the fares used to be:

IRR6MPK
CRR6MPK
DRR6MPK
JRRPK

However, now it seems to be

JRR6MPK
ZRRPK
DRR6MPK
CRR6MPK

This has probably been mentioned before, but now the fares for Swiss Business Class on KVS are showing C D Z J I, whereas they used to show J C D I. Something to do with LH, that shows C D Z maybe?

Sure, beginning Jan 1, 2006 the vast majority of LX fares will be "new", meaning harmonized with LH fares. IIRC, those fares can be booked beginning Dec 25, which is today.

If changing LX fare structure to LH fares is good news has yet to be determined. I personally wouldn't get my hopes up.

I guess so. However, it does work out well for me because the Swiss one year fares ex KHI to YUL (JRRPK) used to be hideously expensive ($5000CAD+) but now the fare (ZRRPK) is only $3500CAD+ with pretty much the same restrictions
