Hi Liebi
Welcome to Flyertalk! The LX lounge in ORD is nothing special unfortunately. You can't compare it to what you are used to in ZRH.
The LX lounge is divided into a C and F section. The advantage of the F section seems to be the space. The C section tends to get very crowded and the food and beverage options is noting special. Last time I had a hard time to find an empty seat in there.
I haven't visited the F lounge yet, but AFAIK pax can find at least an empty seat in there whereas the food and beverage options are mediocre as well.
The gate to the LX flight is normally very close to the lounge.

Nothing to write home about, tiny lounge, just enough for 8 pax. Limited food and drink, just opposite security.

Not a good lounge

Food offering is very poor - just biscuits and small sandwiches, some fruits... so if you are hungry, you should grab a quick bite in the public area before entering security. (Well the inflight meal was wonderful and you will be served canapes after boarding... but still no real food option after security...) Once you pass security, there is really nothing inside... very poor design.

The lounge is really small but there is free wifi. There is a business center as well (but shared by both F and C pax).

The SWISS lounge in ORD is good for spending a 30 min break before your flight but not more than that time frame.

It is very small and have very limited facilities. However, it has excellent location just across from the security check points.

I really like one thing most in that lounge: the coffee nespresso machine

I believe that you can get into the C section with Priority Pass.

I fly with LH, which departs from the United terminal, so I use the Red Carpet Club.

They have their own small lounge. Nothing special AFAIR. If you are *G, there is also a SK lounge in the same Terminal.

The lounge is just opposite from security, fairly sized C section and great always helpful and friendly receptionists. Standard drink selection and basic food choices however better than any UA WCC worn carpet club. Swiss newspaer are delivered around 4 pm every day from the incoming flight.
Departure is mostly M 12 so pretty short walk.

Beware of crowded security between 16:00 and 19.00 hrs
