Swiss/Edelweiss - LHR-ZRH-HKT
Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help. I am looking at booking a flight on Swiss website that will get me from LHR to Phuket via ZRH. First leg will be via Swiss and 2nd via Edelweiss. I assume this will be
a) under one ticket as booking via Swiss all in one go and they are offering the connection
b) they will check my baggage all the way through to PHK on both the way out and return
Would appreciate if anyone can help. Cheers.

Although I cannot definitively answer, if you are buying the ticket directly from Swiss, then I expect that the answer to both questions is, "Yes."
But you are not going to PHK, which is Palm Beach County Glades Airport in Pahokee, Florida. Rather, you are going to HKT (Phuket International Airport).

Haha, it's late and you got me there. You are right it definitely is Phuket and not Palm Beach County Glades Airport
.
I rang Edelweiss and they bizarrely told me that I would only find out at the check in desk on the day.... waiting to see what Swiss have to say but I am sure with it essentially being the same airline that it should be ok. Not one to assume things normally but it would make sense that they transfer the baggage! Stranger things have happened though.
