Gate check car seat on ORD-ZRH flight?
 
Hi fellow FTers,

My wife, baby, and I have booked ORD-ZRH-NCE in a week or so, in business class.
We'd like to get off in ZRH instead of continuing to NCE.

Does anyone know if Swiss AIr gate checks carseats or allows them to be brought on board, or if they insist on checking them to the final destination?

Appreciate the help in advance!

A car seat can be brought on board:

Unfortunately this is not common knowledge by all crew members and you might have to explain this.

that also requires an extra seat for the baby - this doesn’t work for lap childs (at least not guaranteed)

Yes, I forgot about the option that the baby may not have a seat of its own.
