I have a question regarding evening check in for a flight with swiss next day in Nuremberg airport.

I am flying NUE-ZRH-FRA-HKG with Swiss and Lufthansa on a LH ticket.

Is it possible to check in a day earlier at Nuremebrg airport ?

As far as I know for LH it is possible but how about for Swiss ?

Afaik not possible anymore since Swiss checkin got outsourced again.

IIRC LX only offers evening check in at ZRH and GVA.

I called Swiss senator hotline and they said night check in is possible at Lufthansa desks.

However, Lufthansa hotline said it is not possible for Swiss flights. :confused:

pretty sure hotline is wrong

this WAS true until earlier this year when the checkin got outsourced again.. LH can't (or rather: won't) accept your luggage for LX anymore...

Thanks all for your replies. Based on your advice I will drop my bags tomorrow and not go for evening check in.

Probably a good idea.

Most of the time evening check in seems to be a bit of a waste of time anyway. I could imagine very few cases when it would actually make sense.
