LX176 cancelled again
Can anybody tell me why LX176 ZRH - SIN was cancelled last week and this week again ?
I hope to fly on 28th of November to SIN. |
I can’t say why, but it doesn’t look like the same aircraft. Last week it was HB-JND that was cancelled on 7 Nov and it didn’t fly again until 11 Nov. ZRH-GRU then got cancelled two days in a row (9-10 Nov). Ouch. Today, as far as I can tell, the only 77W that is not on another continent and not scheduled out of ZRH is HB-JNH, which landed there this morning. They still haven’t cancelled the return LX177/16NOV, but that will of course become inevitable when LX176/14NOV doesn’t make it... I’m booked for 29 Nov - 3 Dec myself, fingers crossed. |
A friend of mine just changed his booking from the 16th to the 18th, lucky him! These flights are always full so it must be a pain to rebook everyone.

Your friend is very lucky. I was booked on LX177/16 NOV and following the cancellation they couldn’t find me immediate alternative flights. There was no reason given for the cancellation and no offers for compensation etc. or hotel vouchers. I too would love to know why they cancelled this flight |
Unless staff contributes on the forum, we won’t find out. HB-JND did not fly 7-11 Nov and GRU got cancelled twice. HB-JNH has not flown since 13 Nov, causing cancellation of SIN 14 Nov and GRU (again!) tonight. If HB-JNH starts flying again tomorrow, we can perhaps start a conspiracy thread - that LX has messed up their maintenance planning and speculate about which of their ten 77w will be grounded for four days next week and yet another one four days the week after... |

This was exactly the case with last week's two cancelled flights ZRH-GRU. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f1a8b1dd26.png |
