Zurich to Bangkok

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum, so please direct me if need be.
I am considering flying to Bangkok from London next summer in business class.
One of the cheapest and most convenient options (in regards to the return journey at least) was Swiss. A flight from London to Zurich and then changing to what appears to be a Thai aircraft to Bangkok.
Flight number lx4300

Does anyone have experience of the Royal Silk Business Class on this route?
I assume it's the same plane on the reverse journey.

Thanks in advance.

Thai 77W, same plane they use direct from Heathrow. I'd rate it slightly better than LX's own business class

Thai on the 77W has staggered seats. 4+4 per row.
Swiss on the 777W has a similar layout, but 5+5 per row.
Seats are significantly less wide, also no aisle access from all seats.

In my opinion the Thai seat is significantly superior to LX.

And before I forget: welcome to FT!

Perplexed as to why you are asking about TG business class seating in the LX forum.
If you look at the TG forum, at the top of the page you find this https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thai...-overview.html

I was hoping that given it was a Swiss booking there may be people here who have experience of the planes used on this route, be they operated directly by Swiss or by someone else.
Hope this helps with the perplexion.

I will now make a duplicate post over on that other forum. Hope that doesn't breach any forum rules!

Thai recently very often operates the flight to/from ZRH with an older 747 - not sure about the product onboard, but apparently it hit the media quite hard when crew wanted F seats but pax refused to be moved for several hours.
