Alternative ways to contact Edelweiss Air directly?

Hi all
I know Edelweiss Air is not LX, however, I not sure which forum to post this. I flew from SPU-ZRH and had over a 9 hour delay (including an unexpected overnight layover in MXP). I am due EU 261 compensation for 2 tickets booked in business class. I wrote a letter via the LX contact/complaints online form and was told the complaint is being transferred to Edelweiss (even though bought the tickets on swiss.com).

Fast forward to a month and I have still not heard any response from Edelweiss. I have tried contacting them again via the Edelweiss online form and have heard nothing. LX's Twitter told me to send an email to [email protected] but that email bounced. Edelweiss does not have Twitter and their FB account told me to go via their standard online form.

Any suggestions from the FT Crew?

Edit - LX's Twitter just told me to try [email protected] - nevertheless, I'm still not hopeful as these emails usually go into a black hole...!

I was just going to report the same numbers, but with a disclaimer that the Edelweiss phone line is often rather unhelpful.

Thx for the responses. I actually already called them and they told me they can only process the complaint via online...and this was after waiting 25 mins on hold (!) Overall terrible service and really doubt I'll be flying Edelweiss anytime soon!

Just a small FYI: Under Swiss Law airlines are NOT due to pay compensations for delays for flights departing and arriving in Switzerland. However, since your departure airport was in the EU, EU law should also be applicable, so you need to tell them that you are going to seek that jurisdiction of the EU country and not Switzerland.
