(Swiss)LX 296 NBO-DAR-ZRH question

Do you deplane in DAR, if so, do you stay sterile/airside?

Thanks!

Based on my flight in August 2016, we stayed on the plane. (No option to deplane).

They cleaned the plane while in DAR, only took a few minutes, service in business class was good while on the ground. Drinks offered etc.

Not as nice as a direct NBO-ZRH but not a painful stop.

Thanks!!

Was just able to find a blog that said similar from 2015:

DAR-ZRH - "Boarding was early into the jet that was already half-full of sleeping people who had come out of Nairobi."

I was hoping that was the case; I'll assume it continues to 2017. ^

I took this flight back in November and can confirm you stay on the plane while it gets serviced (cleaning, new linens and insecticide spray). A new crew also flies the DAR-ZRH segment. You'll get a light refreshment (pretzel with butter in Y) on the NBO-DAR segment and a full dinner service on DAR-ZRH. No beverage service for Y passengers during the ground stop in DAR.

this flight back has a stop in DAR. Can passengers stay on board or do you have to leave for the stop-over there?
