Used to go out of my way to avoid the A343, but now will try to seek this out. Wonder if the returb F will go to JNB?

Yes, it went to JNB on March 12 and is on its way back right now.

Pictures might be 180° turned, but... it’s live from LX288

The first class looks like a lot of plastic to me? Look at the door. Not up to the standard of the 777 as far as I can tell from these pictures.

Looks good, but I would be worried about how this will look like after a few years with all that white!

When will the fleet be done? Booking JNB for July and might risk LX instead of LH...

hard to tell from the pics, but I think the main reason it all looks so white and plastic vs. 77W is because there is no mood lighting? I’m surprised after all the retrofit effort they didn’t install mood lighting? It would make all the difference to have a little warmth vs. this very harsh white light.

I love the red hue in F when boarding the 777. Very warm and relaxing.

I’m sure the A340 refurb was challenging because of the narrower cabin. That is probably why the “closet” is exposed. TBF, I’m not a fan of hearing the clanging hangers in the closet during turbulence in the 777.

Is there anything between the wooden armrest and the windows?

Many thanks for the pictures, we all have been waiting for

How is the new 2nd Lavatory?

I think they installed the mood lightning, possibly it isn't functioning yet? If I remember well, they had quite some issues also on the other aircraft with the Mood lightning until it began to work ok.

Even that some details are missing, like the closet, it looks like a great product and I would take it instead of the B77W if I would have the choice any day. More quiet and smoother ride on the Airbus, and I even have a feeling that the cabin air is better than on the B77W

There is no stowage between the armrest and the windows. But hey, still a good spot to drop the pilllow, worn PJs, ...

The second toilet is on the way to the cockpit, also on the left side of the plane. So if you’re n the G or K seats you’ll have to walk through the galley all the time.

There was something like mood lighting. But I didn’t really spend attention to it.

Finally.... confirmation of the second Lav, as expected some need to walk via the galley but at least it’s an alternative, some pax seem to fly in F only to spend forever in the lavatory
