Yep. Just noted that our PVG to ZRH F booking in May has been downgraded to J. Apparently, A343 -> A330. Not nice.

HB-JMH has still not returned. So much for Late January to early February.

Over this weekend I was with a friend with access to the LX staff intranet and we saw that the certification is what is taking so long...this friend also said that he had heard someone from LX was sent to DRS so perhaps they are having unexpected issues...
Once the first bird is certified, the subsequent retrofits will be much quicker.
Wonder when JMH will be back...

Yes. Reports at VFT indicate that the plane will be back in ZRH tomorrow and then go into regular service again.

Hey. I am flying to Tokyo on LX160 next Tuesday. Good chance HB-JMH is the bird (she is schedulled for that flight this Thursday, at least).
What rows are Economy plus? (in case I get lucky) ;-)

Where do you take the shedule information for thursday from? And just because she may fly the route this thursday does not mean she will fly next thursday too, sorry to break it to you. Chances are 1:4...

No economy plus rows because there is no such thing as economy plus on Swiss.

I'll miss you by just one day, flying LX160 on Wednesday next week.

I am hoping for an old bird on LX160 (nighttime flight) for a personal "good-bye" to the old F seat, which I still consider the best on LX in terms of sleeping comfort, then for a bird with the new F on the way home 10 days later on LX161 (daytime flight).

Hello.
Well, it is schedulled to fly LX160 on flightradar24. I know these things change. And I am well aware that just because it may fly this Thursday it does not mean that it will do the same flight on Tuesday. I know that. Still...
About the PE rows: I was under the impression that this refurbishment was adding a PE section to the 340 fleet. As I am flying economy, it would be nice to chose a seat in there, even if it is still economy...

Well that’s flightradar :P And while it maybe fly to Tokyo tomorrow, the ZRH - NRT rotation can’t be done in under 24 hours, hence it will not exclusively fly to NRT.
I still hope you will be able to experience the new plane!

Furthermore no PE will or was ever to be added.

Hello.
Okay, my mistake, I thought LX was adding PE. Glad they aren't. The odd OpUp will still be to business :-)
Thanks for your answers
