Interlining baggage on separate tix LX->AA

Paging SwissLurker....can I interline bags on separate tickets from LX to AA? Will be checking bags in ZRH connecting to AA in BCN.

If so, can I also accomplish this checking bags in Zermatt via the flight/rail baggage deal? Thanks

LX is holding an IL with AA. SBB can check-in baggage for AA, but not issue bording-passes, as different handling agent.

Why don't you just go to Zermatt train station and ask about your case?

The question isn't whether LX has an ILA with AA, It does. The question is whether LX will interline bags across separate tickets to AA as a discretionary matter.

This is part of a return journey- I'm not currently in Zermatt.

Edit: Mods- can you add the Dear Swiss Lurker prefix to this post? I hadn't realized that was the way to get their attention.

AFIK LX will check through baggage to other airlines. Just did it last month with LX-AZ on two separate tickets, departing from ZRH. No question at all at the check-in counter!
