Isn't ZRH-EZE for the A343 very much on the limit with MTOW restictions etc?

A correction regarding SEZ:

The following schedule is effective 22SEP18 to 27OCT18.

WK074/LX8074 ZRH1920 – 0640+1SEZ 343 6
WK075/LX8075 SEZ2205 – 0610+1ZRH 343 7

The following schedule is effective 28OCT18.

WK074/LX8074 ZRH1920 – 0740+1SEZ 343 6
WK075/LX8075 SEZ2305 – 0610+1ZRH 343 7

YUL is currently scheduled to be serviced by the 333 next summer whereas a 77W operated the route on the summers of 2016 and 2017 if I'm not mistaken. Can we hope to see the 77W back on this route for next summer? When does SWISS typically announces such changes?

per LX.com
3 summer destinations
Kalamata

From 24 June until 2 September, SWISS will offer weekly flights to Kalamata on Sundays. An ideal starting point for golf holidays and trips around the Peloponnese peninsula, in particular to Olympia.

Pula

From 23 June until 1 September, Pula will be served by a weekly flight every Saturday. It is the airline’s first Croatian destination from Geneva. The Istrian peninsula region has something for everyone, offering everything from beaches to excursions around its numerous Roman archaeological sites.

Toulon – French Riviera

From 24 June to 2 September, Toulon will be served with flights every Thursday and Sunday. The perfect starting point for a trip to the French Riviera and, of course, Saint- Tropez.
1 winter destination

Kittilä

SWISS, in collaboration with Arctic tour specialists Kontiki, opens the first direct connection between French-speaking Switzerland and Lapland. Flights are scheduled every Saturday, from 22 December 2018 to 9 March 2019. Bookings can only be made through Kontiki.

New destinations from Geneva will be served by Bombardier CS100 and CS300 aircraft
changes to existing service
Geneva–Madrid will be served twice daily from Monday to Friday. SWISS is responding to strong demand on this route and the needs of business travellers to take a round trip between the two cities in one day. The flight frequency will be only doubled from April to the end of June and from September to October. The Geneva-Athens schedule will also be enhanced during the months of July and August with a second flight from Monday to Saturday morning.

The Geneva–Malaga and Geneva–Nice routes will now also benefit from an improved weekend schedule with a one-way flight on Friday evening and a return flight on Sunday evening.

I am booked on LX8090 ZRH to EZE 28 November. Plebs Class. Economy Minus (Last Class)
booked on LH website. Return EZE-FRA with Lufthansa.

I wonder what their passenger load will be on these Eidelweiss flights to EZE. I hope the Y minus cabin will not be low cost style with tight seats and no leg room. ZRH-EZE is a maaaaany hours flight.

I had no idea this was a new service.

What are their long haul llights like? Never been on Eidelweiss before.
Myriads of LX/LH through the years but no Eidelweiss.

I have flown EDW quite a lot in the old days, the most recent long haul being ZRH-GIG and back.
I flew with some school friends for a two week trip Brazil and because my friends are mostly cheap and suck at finding good flights we flew Economy for the amazing price of 1700.- rt (ZRH-GIG IN J is often available for 1200-1500 rt, go figure). The flight was decent and actually quite nice. I personally just think that the service in EDW is just a tad more personal and therefore nicer. The seats are very similar to the ones you find on the Swiss A330/340, but much more up to date, big screen and usb charger included. I sat in the middle of the cabin and in the middle of the middle seats. (D) Don‘t take that seat, but take a window seat. The meal was decent. The toddler next to me, however, found much joy in throwing a spoon full of tomato sauce at me and ruining not one, but both my first and spare shirt.

This was the main reason why I baught an upgrade on the return for ~800 bucks to J. 200.- it would have been for E+.

One more comment: Edelweiss Economy is not an Economy minus, imo it is worthy of being just called Economy. I would even go as far as say it‘s superior the LH/LX Economy.

Thank you very much for your information.

Sounds rather nice.

I have United Gold status so I cannot pre-reserve a seat >> unless paid which I will not do.
Bought a non-upgradable fare. This will be a 4 days 3 nights trip.

I always try to get a window seat without a blocked view . The window is my PTV.

I doubt there will be tour groups on the flight.

Maybe I will be lucky.

Oh, yeah, just try to check-in as soon as possible at T-24 hours.

The upgrade I bought was an airport buy up, which is not restricted to Booking class but can be bought by anybody.

On our flights we did not have groups, but Economy was about 3/4 full (while E+ and J were about 1/3 full). I and my friends were 4, so I wouldn't classify us as group either.

Well, I hope you enjoy the flight!

Latest rumors speculate around MEX, ICN or IAD as the next route for Swiss. I personally would go for ICN but lets see what they choose.
