LX will limit F awards to M&M members with SEN & HON status from January 2014.
Base members and FTL members will not be permitted to book F awards.

When will LH follow ?

Actually, this is a real benefit for M&M elites as less people will be able to snag the already rare F seats.
On the other side I hate LX for doing this. I have accumulated a substantial amount of miles over the years and now, since I am about to lose my SEN, I will not be able to use them for FC travel :td:.

You must be joking. I'm sure LH will reduce F availability for HON/SEN accordingly.

I really don't see the benefit for M&M in this enhancement.....an F award is not exactly a cheap mileage redemption. If you have the miles, why would they care who books in F.... especially since they already control the availability.

I already only consider redeeming my M&M miles when I can use the SEN companion discount, otherwise buying miles in another program is cheaper.

What is the "LX M&M news feed" you are referring to?

I doubt that OS and LO will give F-awards to SENs and HONs at anytime ;)
