ZRH-JFK ON A330. Best seatsfor family of 3 in C?

Currently my wife and 2 year old are in 7 d and g with me in 7k. Is this a good seat choice/selection?

Yep - good selection.
Other options are either row 4 or 5 in the "Stübli" which have a more private feel.
Hoping your 2 year old can sit still

FYI - flew this route in the seats mentioned and found out after we took off that car seats are not allowed in Row 7 during take off and landing due to airbags in the row. It wasn't really a problem as my wife moved to 6a for landing and kept my son in her lap.

Very pleasant first flight in long haul Swiss C.

You learn something new everyday.... I have used those seatbelts but never knew they contained an airbag.

I just looked at some of the sites and pictures.... 16G chairs, who knew.

Kinda liked the comments from a purser that he didn't like to tell passengers in the exit rows about their function because others would ask why they didn't get them. I guess bumping your head against the chair in front of you is considered survivable :-).
