They currently are one A340 short, so it makes sense that TLV is being operated with A321s for the time being. There's just not enough planes available.
I just hope they don't follow LH and make this permanent.

No IFE and no hot meal (small warm pastry and small box with cold chicken and pasta). The flight from ZRH departed from D.

Reminded me that it can be worse than LY.
were these last minute changes?

No, but it was Friday and Saturday with no LY flights so I had no other option.

I really have pity for the pax in C.

I don't think so, but I guess we'll have to live with the occasional A321/A320 downgrade.

LX 256 is formally scheduled to be operated by A321 4 days a week anyway?

We will get to see the A32S frequently at least on the LX256/LX257 until at least July since the upgrade of the A340 cabin has been furter delayed / certification of the first aircraft is taking longer than expected

Just noticed that my flight on LX252 for 7/3 was changed from a 330 to a 777. Any insight on whether that equipment will stick?

Its been a 777 for many months now, cant remember the last time they used the 330. imo the 330 is vastly better in both cabins The 321 and 330 holds apx the same # of people, while the 777 holds apx 100 more

My main problem is UA 134 is delayed like clockwork = misconnecting but at least I get onto LYs 12:30pm flight w/o status LX simply puts you onto its 10pm flight which is the 321 to boot

Why do you prefer the 330 in J?

I agree A330 C + F > 777 C+F Did F 777 few weeks ago gratis as SEN (just ask nicely at checking and its a Gate thing, like at ZRH) A330 much more open cabin esp in F New F is a little claustrophobic but some markets love it because they can close doors Reminds me a little of Ethihad First Apartments A380 where doors are constantly kept closed and encouraged but FAs so they don't have to ask you if you would like anything when they walk through cabin

Seems like LX is finally returning the A330 on the 256/257 night flight to TLV from next week and at same time, switching the day flight 252/253 from 777 to 330.
Last summer saw night flight with A330 and day with B777 so that reflects lower capacity.
