Speaking of MIA Catering

I have flown LX a few times now (all in F and all ex-ZRH) and I have been blown away by the quality and taste of the food.

However, that is not shocking given that every airline meal catered ex-ZRH has been excellent.

I am looking at redeeming an award MIA-ZRH-MUC and returning on LH (LX is not available at the moment or I would have redeemed for LX roundtrip).

I have flown AA/AR(Aerolineas Argentinas)/CM(Copa)/AZ all in J/F and the food has been downright awful ex-MIA. Having said that, I am not sure that speaks more about the airline paying for the catering or the catering facilities.

How is LX F catering ex-MIA?

Thanks for any insight,
Dan

I recently had the Bratwurst (as a special) and it was awfull - the steak was OK and as always on LX "cooked" perfectly medium rare.

my general experience is that LH skychef food in any class (even F) ex-USA is nearly not or non-eatable.

The catering on LX from MIA probably won't be much better.

This is what I have come to expect from MIA catering which seems to be uniformly horrible.

Other airports like JFK/LAX/SFO/ORD tend to have better catering, I am not sure the reason however.

How is the catering ex-ORD (there are reward seats available ex-ORD as well)?

Not so good , actually quite bad . But not necessarily any worse than other
Air lines.
