Swiss Lounge DME (Moscow) some pics

Here are some pics from the small Swiss Lounge.

What I failed to show was the small staffed bar which is fine, has draft beer and my wife says the have other drinks too.

Thanks. Do you know if there's also a F/HON section?

No it does not. It is an open space for everyone.

It's o.k., but is usually getting very crowded close to boarding time.

last time I was there they offered some Sushi as well which was actually quite good. As mentioned previously, the bar area in general is quite nice. You need to be there early enough though in order to grab a seat!

It's a little weird that LX, LH and OS all have their own lounges at DME

Surely it would make more sense for them to combine into one much larger facility?

Another star alliance member, BD, uses the Transaero lounge in addition.

I would have thought that this rather defeats the point of having an airline alliance to reduce costs in the first place

Interesting thoughts. DME is by far not the only airport where several *A airlines run their own lounges instead of having one big, shared lounge. E.g. HKG comes to my mind with 3 *A lounges plus CX's The Wing, which is used by LX pax. Clearly in DME it makes even less sense since all BD, LH, LX and OS belong to one company.

BTW, did you get my PM, AndrewC?

Any problems with lounge hopping? Will a LH passenger be redirected to the LH lounge?

No problem. Just once they didn' want to let me enter the LH lounge with my LX C ticket. They only let me in when they saw my status. But that was only once. I usually use the LH loinge first beofre going downstairs to the LX lounge.
