Well, the venison was really truly exceptional. So it’s not the veal’s fault

It was well-executed by the crew in my case, but the meal was also designed to work well on a plane: the meat, the celeriac puree, the red cabbage and the spaetzle with sauce, all were ideal for being reheated gently.

Once the deer population of Switzerland has recovered, bring back the venison LX!

On my last feeder the Baccarat was on the trolley but the crew opened a bottle of D-L for me when i asked for champagne. YMMV though

Hopefully this means that they have to use up the Swiss bubbly stocks and bring back the D-L. Or, it stays like this; still remember the situation when champagne at SEN lounges was on request only for some time, while cheaper bubbly was self-pour.

Quick (& maybe stupid) question: I'm flying to JFK out of GVA on Swiss Business Class.

When looking at the pre-order menu I see 4 items (chicken, beef, fish & vegetarian) and I was wondering whether those choices are the same as the inflight menu or is the inflight one different?

It should be the menu items plus the 4 pre-order ones though ex-GVA not all might be available.

For reference, for my next ex-ZRH in April I see the following:

The on-board menu ex-ZRH is available through the link in this post.

Not sure why it's not working for you but I wouldn't sweat it because (1) on your F flight, if you have some time, the food at the FCL will be much better and/or (2) 50 CHF in the city will buy you much better food too...

its certainly two good points, but, I would still like to try the tool... and don't understand why it does not work. With that said, 100% plan to eat on FCL... thanks.

Would support the FCL plan. But still, call the LX premium line and ask what’s going on!
