Last week I flew F on JNB - ZRH and had a fantastic Californian red wine, but had a bit too much and forgot to write the name down.

Any one know what it is?

The Mascot 2011 - Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa

Agree with you that it is a fantastic wine. I also had a bit too much of it on my recent ZRH-BKK flight, but wrote down the name before.

The wine is indeed amazing. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of glasses on SFO-ZRH last week; while the baby was deeply asleep .

I managed to find out what the Swiss Taste of Switzerland menu will be from September to the end of November 2017: canton Thurgau !!

I'm really pleased about that as I've never tried the cuisine of canton Thurgau. For a moment I thought that might be where Beznau is, but Beznau is in canton Aargau. So no risk of any food glowing in the dark!
