COOP points - accumulate

I've learned a lot around here on how to exchange the coop points. Rebates codes, to wait for the 3:2 (i guess 1:1 is no more), etc. Thanks a lot.

Here is something on accumulating for those who may have missed it.

5x multiplier for a one time purchase up to saturday the 28th Nov:

Are they only valid in the Suisse romande, or everywhere?

The coupon is valid in all swiss Coop stores. It is the same code as the one in this week's newsletter and printed copy of the Coop magazine.

Well, the only thing which we would need now is a good ol' 1.5:1 or 1:1 Superpunkte to Miles conversion offer especially with the looming 20% increase for most C/F-awards.

Any news on that?

athomas76 rumour was very right for 2010.
And with a Trophy running it would be unprecedented to have a 3:2
Let's hope 2011 brings some promos to compensate the 20% devalution.

Does anyone know whether or not it is legal to get miles with help from the Coop Trophy for a foreigner?

To be more exact: I am Swiss and have a friend in the Netherlands who is member of Miles & More. For me it would be quite easy to get the Trohpy-Märkli and therewith miles for him. But I am not sure if the trophy is limited to people living in Switzerland.

no LEGAL problem - what you do need though is his/her m&m card in your hand when converting at the Coop (and just give your own phone number there).

Thanks for info, Rudi. I wonder anyway why the're asking for the phonenumber. I do the trophies for years, and I never ever got a call although there were problems sometimes (they couldn't read a digit of the M&M card for example). I always have to call them myself if something goes wrong. So far, I haven't heard of anyone to receive a call due to the Coop Trophy. Or did anyone in here experience that?
