"The World" descriptions
 

Maybe all those colorful and interesting new descriptions for each geographic area in "The World" could be limited to just enough text so they don't make the whole section so long? Two lines max? (Cuba, at three lines, starts to stretch the list).

When I opened "The World", the initial listing of all the areas used to mostly fit on one page, but as the text descriptions have been added it has grown longer and longer, and now it take up most of three pages on my machine. When all the sections have their descriptors, I'm guessing it might take up 4 pages to scroll through?

What I actually read from the page is the dates and times of posting for my current areas of interest, looking to see if there are any new posts since I last looked. I did read some of the text once as it went in, and I'm sure newbies will read it also.

We do know people rarely read the fine print on many things. Maybe once if it isn't too long.

White space is a good thing, too.

If the "owner" of an area wants to do more descriptor stuff, maybe it could be a sticky inside?
