Acronyms?

As a new user on Flyertalk, i read the posts and see all these "J's, y's, c's, etc." whizzing over my head. Is it possible to sticky a post somewhere detailing what everything is?

Welcome to FlyerTalk, and hang in there!

If you look in the Help menu in the far right of the toolbar, you'll find this...

Let me also add my welcome to FT!

In addition to the FT glossary referenced above, some of the airline and hotel forums have their own glossaries like this one in the Delta Forum. It’s specific to the airline and, in some cases, specific to the individual posters in a forum who sometimes develop their own abbreviations and lingo.

Check at the top of each forum for any “sticky” threads that may contain a glossary or ask a forum moderator for assistance.
