Sequence of airport listings in local talk

Could someone please explain to me the logic of the sequence in which the airports are listed under local talk? It's certainly not alphabetical and definitely not geographical. It really would help if someone could rearrange them in a way where you don't have to scroll through the whole list to find what you want.

it is alphabetical by region (africa, asia, australasia, europe, americas) and then alphabetical within regions

A section in Americas (in the order listed) -

Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Denver, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Washington, Orlando, San Francisco, Houston, Philadelphia ...

I guess I need to go back and relearn my alphabet, FT-style.

:o Oops didnt notice that. The region I check out (australasia) is alphabetical within region but none of the others are.

it is screwy.

Anyone at FT care to respond?

To tell you the truth -- although this is not my thing -- I think the order is based on the date/time the forum was created.

Yeah, the forums are shown in the order that they were brought in/created from the old system. We may reorder them, depending on how Randy feels about it.

One thing, though, is when any new forums are added, the rest will have to be reordered again, which is a pretty time-intensive process, with the number of forums we have.

Thank you. It's not a really big deal, just a minor annoyance when you are trying to find a particular airport. I thought if it was simple, you could rearrange them. If it is very time consuming, it probably isn't worth the bother.
