Improve appearance of FT Announcements Icon
The FT Announcements icon is easily overlooked. Would it be possible to highlight it a manner so that it stands out and cannot be missed?

Again, limitations of the UBB software as with other issues such as text size, etc. While some of these things may be hacked, we're pretty much pushing this thing well past it's posted speed limits and concerned about the "last thing we did." It's on our wish list but there's not a lot of options for us unless we want to spend apx. another $95K a year in other board license fees based on our traffic and post count. We have recently acquired another orund of server upgrades and have an architecture review of all this in about three weeks. Will let you know if there's anything we can do in this area for you.

Randy, is it possible to do a flashing banner or a pop-up type announcement. In this way, everyone would take notice. If you can't, how about changing the color of the icon to bright red so that it will stand out.
