I agree!

DOH! Didn't see CLT in there. My mistake for jumping too fast.

How about BNA? It's a major transit point (read quasi-hub) for Southwest, and Nashville is a pretty substantial city.

Two other notes: One, WAS is the city code for DCA/IAD, so does not need to be in the header for that area. Two, it would be helpful to list the airports in each continent alphabetically, either by code or by city.

Maybe we could have a seperate place for hub airports?

By the way.. looks like MSP was overlooked..

The Whopper Says, "mspman - stupid jerk. MSP right in front of him! Open eyes, see better."

PDX?

How about FLL and PBI? Or at least FLL - Fort Lauderdale is one of the top 30 busiest airports tracked by the FAA and will be expanding its international presence soon.

South Florida should be a region (EYW, FLL, MIA, PBI).

How about MCI? It's a pretty strange airport, too; should have good discussion potential.

Ditto on the "other airports." The alternative is to clutter up "Buzz," after all.

I'm sure that lil' ol' Richmond, VA is too small to merit its own slot, but how about RIC, ORF (Norfolk) and PHF (Newport News) combined in one category?

crAAzy Jul 16, 2001 12:47 pm

Here's another airport that might be good to add to the list - MKE.
Yeah it's small, but
1) It's a close alternative to Chicago
2) It's a hub and homebase for Midwest Express
3) It's a great airport to fly into and out off.

Having said that, I don't know how much there would be to talk about besides the addition to the parking garage they adding http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ft...orum/smile.gif

How about RDU?

Home to Midway, the Beagle is increasing, US and SW are big. More parking garages, renovations. One of fastest growing airports and areas.

why not sort by alphabetical order?
i dont understand how they are ranked, and have difficulty finding them

This is a valid question. I am going to Beijing and I was looking for info on PEK airport. A general section would be appreciated to ask for others impressions. With changes in format, I don't know where to properly post my questions.

Would be nice to have a tread for airports in a former Soviet Union.
Lots to discuss ( Moscow has 4 active, SR/SN are moving from SVO to Domodedovo)
