I don't know if the UBB software supports this, but it sure would be nice if we could individualize the appearance of our "front page," like you can do on the web portals like "My Yahoo."

My one gripe about FT is that it takes about 30 seconds to load the front page, even with my blazing new DSL connection. Cutting down on the amount of stuff that is being loaded to start with would greatly reduce the time it takes to bring up that page.

I don't need to see the entries for Qualiflyer, Qantas, Adams Mark, etc. etc. I would rather they were not there, as for my purposes they just increase the "signal to noise ratio." I suspect every time I log in, the UBB software does a calculation to see if it needs to put a little yellow light bulb to the left of all these discussion forums I don't use, thus resulting in the long load time.

Randy said earlier that this was coming. Any news folks?
