On the part of the board where the members discuss credit cards, there are two areas - one for American Express, and another for Diners Club. It might be useful to put a final area, perhaps called "All Other Credit Cards" - it seems to me that all kinds of frequent flyer promotions for credit cards come up, and many of these do not fit neatly into AmEx or Diners.

Randy had mentioned in his own personal thread up there that this was in the works. He also mentioned that there is a way to accrue miles with the Discover Card, but was mum on the details. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

We expect to add these new forums between June 7 and 10th. We're moving some threads around at that point and didn't want to "over maintain" some of the changes, so we're going to do it all at once. As for being mum on the Discover Card, sorry I am late on that, I'll go post that again......thanks for the reminder.

Randy ~ I assume your guys there now that UBB 5.36 will be coming out on June 7, which will include the built in option of moving a thread so you don't have to do it manually (just want to make sure the June 7 date isn't just a coincidence).

No, I went to UBB and checked the latest release boards before posting that note. June 7th it is and my guess it will take a few days to figure out all the various posts to move around. Part of the task will be to introduce a new thread to re-direct others to the new thread location. A daunting task, but one I think will make a real difference on understanding where the topics of choice will be. I'm impressed that you thought enough to know about UBB and are aware of version releases. We've been looking at the various things that the software will allow us to do and feel real good about this release as well as 'page splitting' later in June. It's coming folks.....

I was still hoping for an "Other" section on the credit card site. There are other interesting c.c. deals that are not neccesarily related to AmEx or DC. Thanks!

In my opinion a pretty expensive way to get miles, and not worth it.
