Can we add Wikis in some posts?
First time over here in CommunityBuzz so not sure if this has been discussed before but would it be possible to allow wikis to be created in applicable threads (things like promo discussions)? Thought of this after trying to get through the new SPG Promo thread where there have been a lot of good questions that have been answered and then asked several times because people didn't want to read through everything to see if it had been asked. Wikis are used on the slickdeals.net forums (as an example) and allow users to add relevant information in real time. This way, when a good question or discussion point and answer comes up, it can be added there and reduce the overall clutter in the thread which would allow people to find answers faster. I'm not sure (since I'm not a mod on a forum that uses these) but I believe they have tracking so if someone goes and deletes everything to be a jerk, a mod can quickly restore it without much effort. I think it would be very beneficial for certain threads to make it easier for people to see if their question has already been answered without having to read through a 20 page thread.

CommunityBuzz forum is for Flyertalker Dos (meetings & get togethers), so I'll move your thread to the Flyertalk Suggestions area.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/sugge...s-threads.html Noted nothing has happened or implemented w/r/t this long-overdue feature from the site owner's end after so many years. :( Our member-elected TalkBoard had just "formally" brought this up in TalkBoard Topics Forum: Discussion re: resolution asking Internet Brands to implement wiki-posts on FlyerTalk You are more than welcome to chime in the above TB discussion thread. |
