Suggestion: Include confirmation step for "Unsubscribe" in MyFlyertalk
 

This has been suggested many times before, but for whatever reason never made it to the top of the priority list.

Even the current Community Director has had trouble with that feature:

Nowadays, with many people accessing Flyertalk from mobile devices where it happens much more easily that one accidentally clicks on something rather than intentionally, this issue has become more important, too.

(By the way, I must have accidentally clicked on something to unsubscribe from a forum and now it's gone and I cannot find it anymore... :p)

I've pinged Tech on this. I'm sure they'll take a look adn see what can be done, if anything.

Looks like this issue is a core software limitation and there's no way to do it. Good suggestion though.
