Quote notification
There must be some kind of plugin for the forums or what ever that notifies you if you are quoted in a thread.
Slickdeals.net has this feature and it is very good for keeping up with threads when someone quotes you to ask or answer a question you had. ^ |
The best answer I can give you at this time is to subscribe to the threads where you comment, and watch those threads for new comments.
I'll submit your suggestion, but I have no idea how feasible that is right now or how long it would take to be addressed. Paul |
Hmm. I wonder what forum software SD uses. At first glance I thought it was a highly customized, custom-skinned version of vBulletin (there are a number of things that look similar), which should make it easy for IB to figure out how to implement something similar here, but after browsing around a bit, I don't know that it's vBulletin.
Agree it would be a useful feature. Of course, I tend to read every thread I subscribe to, so I usually find peoples' responses to my posts pretty quickly, but it would be very nice to know when someone has responded directly to you. |
