I extend my proposal, to include TB candidate. (more important than the "I voted"- which I btw also support.
Thats to help in voting process and ease the evaluation. Of course the candidates you mention probably wont have to much help to offer, but Im talking about previous TB members. And I would guess most former TB members would have great insight for potential TB candidates, for people who wants to suggest changes, to be able to get a better grip on how it works behind the scenes.

I look at the veteran members who have all posted on this thread and any one of them could answer a question from a new poster if sent a PM (such as what forum would my question be best on, or if there is a forum for technical support or airlines of India).
We have some TalkBoard members running right now that have one month's experience on FT, and another with years here and only 300 posts. I don't think I'd rate either of them as having more experience with FT than those that have taken the time to give you input here. The posters that have answered you here are all very experienced members and know their way around FT. |

After reading more on the TB topics forum lately, I still back this suggestion.
When discussing former motions on TB it would be good to know the posters background/history on the topic. |
As this is a "suggestion" forum, I wouldn't expect much action here. Maybe it's time to post in the Talk Board forum and see if they'll put your suggestion up to a vote. Have no idea whether they will run with it, though.

FWIW TB candidates used to have a title identifying them as such under their handle but apparently not this year. Don't know why it changed but I think it's something that should be brought back but that's just this humble TB candidates opinion. ;)

The bolded name is about the only thing a moderator gets in exchange for some often hard and thankless work. ;)
