I still think it's a good idea. The mobile skin is pretty (though it needs a LOT more work), but due to the inherent limitations of browsing on an iPhone, it's not a good solution for hardcore FlyerTalkers. And for hardcore FlyerTalkers (which most of us are), a dedicated app can offer so much more.
I've posted a few ideas on what an app can do differently in one of the other threads on the subject. Let me know if you want me to find where it is and link directly to it.
