'Business Owners' Sub-Forum?
I spend a few million dollars a year via company CCs.
The strategies to maximize this spend are a bit different than the average household / churner. Surprisingly, there is *nothing* on the internet that caters to business owners like me. Would FlyerTalk consider a sub-forum for business owners to discuss credit card spending strategies? Eg: - I have two CIPs that I max out the bonuses on, can I get a 3rd? - Tools to help accounting team assigning spend correctly? - Good AU cards for employee travel I know there are other business owners out there spending LOTS more than me. They don't have a place to go to get good advice, so I fear they are not getting any :/ |
That would be great. Don't spend a couple millions worth but do around half million on my credit cards annually. Would be great to have a forum to connect business wise with other FTers

I just maxed out the $500,000 4x on Amex Biz Gold. Curious if anyone has two of them?
Or, where else to move spend for rest of year? -- Buying another business, and yesterday I applied for 7x Chase Ink cards through my biz banker. These are *real* questions, and real situations I am dealing with right now. Heck, I'd be happy to spread the word on other business forums to drive traffic. We just... business owners like this have no place to talk about these situations. |
My husband and I are small business owners and I think this is an interesting idea. But you can see it hasn't gotten traction yet, perhaps because not many make this way to the corner of the board. Consider putting a link in your signature to this thread and see if it gains traction.

Dovster Appreciate the comment. To clarify, my focus was on business credit cards, and strategies for 'high spenders':
- I'm applying for 7x Chase Ink Cards with my business banker, anyone have experience getting so many at once? - I maxed out spend on all bonuses, what other cards to use till end of the year? Stuff like that. -- I guess I'm curious if other business owners fly their staff in J/F. Sure. Still, no place exists for business owners to discuss strategies to maximize company spend. |
I think CC spend is just one of the many discussions that can be had for FT 'Business Owners' thread/sub-forum. I would start out by making a thread and see how busy it gets. I started a thread at the start of the pandemic about businesses and the pandemic and it got little traction, so there may not be enough traffic.

lots of business owners on FT and award travel websites, plus contractors with similar charges
most big spenders use amex charge cards although IIRC saw something saying chase sapphire can get $500k limits, vs usual $100k pretty sure business owners are biggest users of award booking services |
Three's also the business related airline programs like AA's Business Extra, Delta's Skybonus, and United's one that I forgot the name of. :D
